mjb Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 I promised I would come back and post after my husband's radiosurgery. Last Wednesday was a loooong day, but it went without a hitch. He had a headache when they took off the screws, which he took 3 ibuprofin for (doctor gave them to him), then he went home and slept. No side effects to date except that he is on steroids again and that makes him eat like a horse. Also on anti-seizure medication for 6 weeks. Knock on wood, he's feeling pretty good. Next MRI in Jan/Feb time frame. Many thanks for the prayers - trust me when I say I wouldn't have made it without them. It was one of those weeks when all the little things that can go wrong did - with a vengeance. I am almost recovered:) Thanks again.
