Fay A. Posted July 24, 2003 Share Posted July 24, 2003 I have been on Oxygen for the past few months. I wanted to let you know that the reason our noses run is because the Oxygen is very drying. Once I received the small humidifier to attach to the condensor unit it made a big improvement in the (formerly) continuously running nose. Also, don't forget to clean the filters in the condenser unit. Hope you are feeling better very soon. Fay A. PS to Sam: Thanks for sharing your perspective-both first and second hand. My primary experience with radiation pneumonitis has been through several friends, and my Mother. Theirs crept up on them rather slowly, and at the time I was told that this is how it always happens.
