Donna Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 My brother mark is suffering with severe bloating, and nothing helps. Is this a common symptom after chemo and radiation? Connie B Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Donna, Yes, Chemo CAN cause Bloating, however, so can a LOT of other things. Please talk with his doctor's. Always best to be safe then sorry. I'm very glad to hear he is NED! That's GREAT NEWS! Not an easy battle, but it sure can be beat! I have a friend that is a SCLC survivor of over 6 years. Her cancer also had spread to her liver. She's here and doing just FINE and she too is Cancer Free! So, NEVER SAY NEVER when it comes to beating this beast! It's DOABLE!!
