kim Posted October 8, 2005 Share Posted October 8, 2005 I saw an interesting quote yesterday, it said," God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change." I don't know why, but that thought just really moved me at 3am standing there, in a empty hallway at the hospital where I work at getting ready to go take care of a gentleman with lung cancer. Sometimes I need a good swift kick in the a** to make me remember why I do what I do. I can't change everything, but sometimes I can make the change a little bit easier.
