rmm17 Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 This weekend if fall break so i have 2 extra days off from class!! I went home to visit my Mom this evening. She looks much better than she did last weekend. If it wasnt for the lack of hair i'd have never guessed she was "sick". She starts her 3rd week of radiation Monday, and so far she only has mild side effects. She's a tough cookie so i'm sure can deal with almost anything that comes along. Well, we had a nice evening. Ate lots of chocolate ice cream and watched a girly movie (my little brothers were thouroughly disgusted). It was fun, and helped me realize that everything we do doesnt have to revolve around her cancer and treatment. Thanks for all you help guys. Hope you all have a great weekend. We're of practically the same age and we're going through the same things what with our parent's cancer treatments and all. Nice to meet you! Your mom is in my thoughts.
