joanie55 Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 Lehman Brothers Lung Cancer Center at Weill-Cornell Medical College Weill-Cornell Medical College recently announced the establishment of a major Lung Cancer Research Institute. The Lehman Brothers Foundation's previously announced grant of $6 million will help support the establishment of the Lehman Brothers Lung Cancer Research Center, a core component of the new Institute. The gift represents one of the largest given by The Lehman Brothers Foundation to date and will help fund the creation of a state-of-the-art, 1,900-square-foot cancer research laboratory, as well as support the recruitment and retention of world-class experts in the genetics and molecular abnormalities of lung cancer.
