Linda661
I thought sharing this link might help those considering pallative or hospice care: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/hospicecare.html This one provides links to a lot of information from reputable sources on these issues. If I find anymore, I'll add them here. This link: http://www.hospicepatients.org also appears to be really valuable. It's the hospice patients alliance -- it's a non-profit dedicated to informing and serving the needs of hospice patients, families, caregivers, the bereaved, and hospice staff to promote quality hospice services that respect you as a person. It's quite an extensive site and appears VERY, VERY informative of how to possibly avoid the unpleasant experiences some of us have had. Here are a few other useful, more general, reputable links for hospice information: http://www.hospice-america.org/ http://www.nho.org/templates/1/homepage.cfm http://www.americanhospice.org/ http://www.nhpco.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3254 http://www.nahc.org/famcaregiver.html Linda
