gail
At my five year check up I took flowers for the front desk. I told them I was a five year supplier and they were very instrumental in helping me get there. They were very surprised and very touched. When I left the appointment, I stopped at the desk and told them when people asked about the flowers to tell people a 5 year lung cancer survivor provided them. This August was my next visit. I brought flowers for the front desk again, telling them the same thing. When I left I asked to speak to the social worker and gave her our website. She has a lung cancer group but did not know what LUNGevity was!!! I found that a little scary, but reminded myself that she handles a lot of cancers. I left my phone number with her as well. gail
KatieB
YAY!!! Way to go!! It's important that people know that LCSC exists so that patients and family members will always have a place for support. It's also important for people to know about LUNGevity, especially for those who are in a place to advocate, raise awareness and fundraise for a CURE!! Let me know if you need any materials to distribute!!
