teresag
Hi everyone - I'm attending a meeting today with a computer scientist who is developing interactive software that will permit health care providers to customize patient education materials to the individual patient. Don't know much about it yet, but I thought perhaps some people here would have opinions about how patient education materials should be presented. Unfortunately, much of what is available is poorly designed, not very easy to read, written at too high a level, not answering the questions on the patient's (and family's) mind, and so on. So, my questions: If you could design the perfect cancer educational material, in any format, covering any and all topics, what would it look like? What was missing or wrong (if anything) about the way you or your sign. others were educated about cancer? All responses are appreciated! Thanks in advance for your input.
