FEETOFCLAY Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 MY HUSBAND HAS NSLC 3B. THE CANCER HAD SPREAD TO LYMPH NODES. AFTER CHEMO/RADIATON THE CANCER HAS SHOWN NO SIGNS OF SPREADING. HOWEVER HE HAS SEVERE PAIN IN THE JOINT OF HIS THUMB. IT IS PAINFUL TO TOUCH. HIS DOCTOR SAYS IT IS NOTHING, BUT I AM CONCERNED. HAS ANYONE EXPEIENCED THIS? Quote
Ry Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Some chemos cause bad pain in the joints. You may want to search the drugs he had to see if that is listed. If the doctor is unconcerned it may be from his treatment. Welcome to our board. Ask any questions you have. Rochelle Quote
barbara5452 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Joint pain can be caused by chemo, but check with the doctor to make sure that is what may be going on. Quote
