Eileen Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 Hi actually had mine picked up on an x-ray---did not show a tumor, just a thickening of the pleura---went for a ct---and that is where it showed My Dr. does not even know why he sent me for an x-ray---as I just had an upper respitory infection---and he said he never ususally sends people for that---don't even know why I went---becasuse all he really said was "you should get an X-ray----as you are a smoker" so I do think ct scans can be used for screening to pick up early tumors regards eileen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
