Flyman35 Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 One of the women that I covered for the other day because she called in sick when she really wasn't sick at all but was on and interview with one of our clients just gave her 2 week notice today. Since material costs have increased business has slowed a bit and all overtime has been cut. So in that case I am sure they will not replace her anytime soon. Her job will most likely be absorbed by the department. I at this time seem to be the only one cross trained enough to do the bulk of her job effectively. This means I will be very busy during the day and I will miss out on a lot of the fun. It also means that I better get a big fat flippin raise. Don't have too much fun without me and I will check in as often as possible. I think in anticipation of this I should take a week off. I am going to need to be fresh for the fight. Denise Quote
CaroleHammett Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Hey, Denise! She gave two weeks' notice. Maybe you should take two weeks? Affectionately, Carole Quote
shineladysue Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Maybe it won't be as bad as you think and just maybe you will get that raise. Good Luck. Hope we will see you more than you think. Sue Quote
