DebbieN Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 We went to onc on Wed. for the results of the cat scan on the lungs and they are still stable, he said Kevin is just one of those cases where the tumor does not due much just sends out the bad seeds, unfortunatly to the brain, so we just have to keep a close eye on his brain. Fri. was the Gamma Knife, that was interesting the worst part for him is when they put the needles in his forehead to numb the spots to srew in the head frame, other then that it went very smooth took about 3 and half hours. Good news was they did not find any other tumors, so only one to zap. He will have another MRI the week before X-mas, so that will be right around his one year mark, and hopefully no more brain mets. Hope the Gamma knife did it's job and that the scan before Xmas will show no more.. What a wonderful Xmas present that would be.
