Wednesday's Air

Good morning, everyone!

It was 66 degrees as I rode to work this morning. The forecast high is 76. I knew a front was near when I got up this morning, but there were no storms in the immediate area, so I got on my bike and went. The nice tailwind I had turned into a headwind as I met the front halfway to work. There were some pretty threatening clouds around, but no rain, and it's clear now behind the front.

I'm thinking I'll get started on installing a storm door on the back door of our house when I get home. Have a great day, all!

I love this overcast/windy weather. Started bright and early this morning on some much needed yard work. My backyard is not large but I've lots of landscape-trees and various bushes, roses, palms and banana trees that needed to be cut back not to mention lots of pruning and the first real mow of the season. It was so nice and cool out that I did it all in about three hours and took my time and it was pleasant (if you live where it gets 105 in the summer then you know what I mean)

I've got a busy day ahead with a little work in the office, taking my daughter to her dance lessons, teaching the 3rd grade girls at church tonight, etc.. Wednesdays are crazy busy for me.

Have a wonderful day everyone. My heart and prayers are still with the families of those miners in W. Virg. One of my advocacy friends, Lynn Lane, a cancer survivor and founder of Voices of Survivors, lost his uncle in that tragedy. It's just so sad.

Another nice day in the north as well. Snow is melting and the daylight is getting longer each day. Now it is daylight from 6am till 9pm. Summer is on the way.
