NikoleV
Key Research in Lung Cancer, Direct from ASCO 2013: Nation-Wide Molecular Marker Testing June 7th, 2013 - by Dr. Jack West http://expertblog.lungevity.org/2013/06 ... r-testing/ This is the first podcast as part of a video program just done a few days ago at the end of ASCO 2013, the largest cancer conference of the year. I was joined there by Drs. Nate Pennell, lung cancer specialist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, as well as Dr. Mary Pinder, from Moffitt Cancer Center. We covered a series of topics over a little more than an hour, and over the next several weeks I’ll be relaying podcast pieces from that event right here, in 3-10 minute pieces. I hope it’s helpful. The first of these covers a presentation on a project called “Biomarkers France”, a nation-wide platform to test for a collection of current and emerging molecular markers in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Here’s that video: (Click on the link above to view the video) Direct from ASCO Pt 1 Biomarkers France In the next day or two, I’ll also be writing a summary of my general impressions and some highlights from 20,000 feet, which will largely serve as a preview/table of contents for many of the videos you can expect to see here over the next month. Or catch them on YouTube, subscribe on iTunes, etc. We want to make them as accessible as possible for you.
