Hi Susan..I have a question, At what size is a nodule in the lung called a mass? I was never informed of my 5cm nodule , I learned about it from my discharge papers. Should I even be concerned? Thanks for any help. Mally
Susan Cornett
Generally, something larger than 3 cm is a mass.
