Kelvin4426 Posted June 7, 2023 Share Posted June 7, 2023 So my mom has been having pain in her lower back and leg for a few months now went to the emergency twice one said its probably arthritis another said its a nerve well she had her ct scan and came back that there was a tumor on her sciatic nerve and need 1 time radiation to make it smaller as it's pinching on the nerve. There was also a small thing on her lungs so now they are going to give her a pill dunno what it will be but I'm assuming it will be target therepy as she is egfr positive and her first course of action was chemoradiation which helped as the tumor shrunk to very small. Just wondering if anyone else had a tumor grow on their sciatic nerve and if you had the same treatment Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
