Margaret Posted June 6, 2004 Share Posted June 6, 2004 I had filed one of those forms for inclusion in the class action suit against the makers of Taxol, because of overcharging. I qualified merely for having been given the drug in my first chemo treatments. Today I received a check for $525, because my treatment had been covered in part or whole by my insurance company. I had figured it might be about $25! Hope others filed also and will be receiving a check! I'm trying to decide on what to use this "mad" money on. When did you have to get taxol to be elgible, actually my insurance 100% of the chemos I get at the infusion center, I'm just greedy and like money!
