karenl
Hi alord Welcome, and I am sorry to hear about your father. I would not have the first idea about the protocol for arranging long-distance second opinions, although I am sure that it is possible. Others who are better informed will let you know what your options are. I would just like to say that this is a wonderful site for exchanging information and ideas, and for giving and receiving support. I'm glad you found us! Wishing you and your father all the best. Ry
Alord~ I know someone that sent all their records to MD Anderson for a second opinion without actually going there. If you go to their website you can most likely get information on how to do this. Wish you and your father all the best. Rochelle
Guest bean_si (Not Active)
Alord, I second Rochelle's post on MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. Here is a link to their representative for Israel: http://www.mdanderson.org/departments/i ... 508BDCCE3A Graciela Gerber, Senior International Patient Representative Graciela Gerber is a native of Argentina and has been a part of the International Patient Center since its inception in 1995. She is fluent in English, Spanish and German, and also speaks some Hebrew. Mrs. Gerber has extensive international experience, having lived in both Europe and Israel before moving to the United States. E-mail Graciela: ggerber@mdanderson.org "I am proud to be part of a team that creates an oasis for the international patient, helping them to enter M. D. Anderson where they will receive the best cancer care."
john
Another thing to try is to get the CT digitized so it can be sent electronically.
