Donna G
Recently , July 23, I was able to go to a meeting of the Twin Cities Thoracic Onocology Consortium. I am still digesting all that was said. The first speaker was a Gastroenterologist from the VAMC Dr Mandeep Sawhney. He described how informative this procedure is and how much easier it is on patients to have accurate biopsies , mediastinum ,lymph nodes, adrenals and parts of the liver for lung cancer. Has any one had this type of biopsy for staging and diagnosis? Here is a site that talks about it.
