Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 James, Not sure where your Mom is receiving treatment, but here is some information on a cancer center (John Stoddard Cancer Center) in Des Moines that is not too far from where you live: http://www.ihsdesmoines.org/body.cfm?id=84 Also, contact the Iowa American Cancer Society at 1-800-688-0147 and ask if they still have the Road To Recovery program in your area, which provides transportation for cancer patients who live in rural communities.
