  1. Hi Jen,

I know it's frusting when bad weather messes things up. Like you said, you know it's not the end of the worid, but you just wanted everyone together, as you should. Good luck and I hope people will be able to make it. I'm from Philly, and in the past I have been in a similiar situation.

  2. Wow Ginnie,

I think at one time or another we have all been there. Believe it or not,as time goes by and your still clean it will help. It will always be in the back of your mind. You have to talk to someone and learn to relax alittle more. Feeling out of control is not a fun thing. Been there. Good luck and take care.

  3. Welcome Trish,

Sorry you had to come here, but great place for info. and support. The waiting for the other shoe to drop is the most difficult for me too. It will be less and less in your mind if your test results remain good, but it will always be there to a degree, if that makes any sense. It's the new normal and you do learn to live with it. Not like we have a choice. Take care and good luck to you. Your very lucky to have good employers.

  4. Hey Cindi,

I'm in the bathroom all the time. I just thought it was me. What is up with this, and do you know what it is from? I have a comode next to my bed, because I wake up at least 3 times a night and I know I'll never make the bathroom. Is this a side effect from what?????? My bladder has never been the best and had it lifted in 89, at the time it was from having kids. But what does cancer, chemo or whatever have to do with it??? Boy, am I glad I read this post. What's up w/ that???

    Love,

  5. I posted afew days ago about my friend w/ the two different types of NSLC. The first surgery she had right top lobe was removed, now she has to have bottom left lobe removed. Does anyone had two lobes one in each lung gone? How comprised will her breathing be?

    Thanks,

    Mare

  6. Val,

Plese don't be so hard on yourself. Grieving is so different for everyone. I heard or read somewhere the average time is two yrs. What ever the heck average is. My dad has been gone for six yrs. and sometimes is seems like yesterday to me. I can't belive he's been gone so long. Please take one

day at a time. That's all you can do.

    Good luck and take care.

    Love,

  8. Hey TAnn,

So glad to hear from you. Praying pain management can figure something out for you. Did they discuss draining any fluid. My dad had that done and it relieved so much pressure and pain. I don't know your exact situation and if it's even possible for you , but it's worth it to ask. Good luck and take

care. You are always in my prayers.

    Love,

    Mare
