  1. She said that as its slow growing, chemo would just make me ill with no benefit, and because I have EGFR S768i mutation radiotherapy and immunotherapy don't work, and as its spread surgery isn't an option either. I'm at Arden Centre in Coventry UK which is a cancer centre. I have booked a GP appt. today to see if I can get a 2nd opinion. So I've just had my first oncology appt and been told that my EGFR mutation isn't the right one for targeted therapy and because adenoid cystic carcenoma tumours are slow growing there isn't any treatment options apart from monitoring, gutted to say the least 😥

  3. Thanks Lou, as its stage 4 with metastasis in liver and spine I've been told surgery isn't an option. I've got my first oncology appt. on 29th August so will see what they say. I'll be very interested if anyone on here has the same.
  4. Hi I'm struggling to find anyone who has Adenoid Cystic carcenoma of lung with EGFR mutation as this type of cancer is so rare, so Roy Castle Foundation sent me the link to this site to see if there is anyone here with any info?
