Many of us "Old Folks" (those over 40) are quite
confused about
how we should present ourselves.
We're unsure about the kind of image we are projecting
and whether
or not we are correct as we try to conform to current
fashions.
Despite what you may have seen on the streets, the
following
combinations DO NOT go together and should be avoided:
1. A nose ring and bifocals
2. Spiked hair and bald spots
3. A pierced tongue and dentures
4. Miniskirts and support hose
5. Ankle bracelets and corn pads
6. Speed-os and cellulite
7. A belly button ring and a gall bladder surgery
scar
8. Unbuttoned disco shirts and a heart monitor
9. Midriff shirts and a midriff bulge
10. Bikinis and liver spots
11. Short shorts and varicose veins
12. In-line skates and a walker
13. Thongs and Depends
Please keep these basic guidelines foremost in your
mind when you shop or go to those senior dinner specials

I'm so sorry that this has happened to you, no one deserves that violation.
I would have to agree with the others about dogs, our dog though not has a very intimidating bark and growl epecially at night, I don't think she would hurt a soul but I don't tell very many people that.
I'm sorry Nina and hope you get some sense of security back. David

My doctor prescribed clydimycin for the rash it seemed to help, but any rich body cream seems to help. Good luck to your husband.

Ginny, Black and tan is a dog! A hound dog. Might be a midlife crisis if so then I get to live to be 92 and I'd be more then happy with that my maternal grandmother is 97, she sleeps all the time but she is 97. I'll be happy as pie to make my nest birthday, then the next one etc...........
My wife and I are having dinner with John and Ry tomorrow night, so I can tease them. just kidding about the teasing

I know how it sucks to be in the hospital. Tell Charlie to rest up and get better and out of there, he has a party to go to.

Hi All, I've been having trouble driving my truck as it has a manual transmission and it bothers my right shoulder to keep shifting it a lot, finally had enough wife and I were out today and stopped in a Ford dealership and found the perfect car for me, A 2003 Black Mustang GT with an automatic transmission and tan leather interior. I'm like a kid in a candy store, I pick it up tomorrow and can hardly wait. I so deserve this car! David

hate those hoax warnings, but this one is important AND VERY REAL!
If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a survey and
asks you to take your clothes off, do not do it.!!! This is a scam; they only want to see you naked.
I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid and cheap now.....

Happy Birthday Robert and many, many more to come. I tell you birthdays and holidays are sweeter when you have a disease like this.

today turned out to be a much better day then the last four days. I can't believe what a change it was, the pain has mostly subsided I have to believe all the well wishes and prayers help lots. I got outside and killed a few weeds with my non toxic weed killer(vinegar & gin) and staightened out the garage some I stopped at that as not wanting to crash and burn again. I have to get used to the new 'normal'.
Thank you all so much.
