Diagnosed April 29th 2003.Now I'm at 3 years and 9 months.Athough struggling now we're still counting.
I also don't put much faith in statistics.

Sometimes even tho we are fighting lung cancer we need to reach down really deep inside and paddle faster.

Either Michigan or Pa.Not sure which.I think are road craters may be deeper.

Tracy,I am sorry you have all this on your plate.I am lucky being older that our kids are all old enough that we are spared many of the uncertainties going with the younger children.
You are right it seems cancer has a way of really taking you to the limits.It has been doing a number on me lately as well and it is not easy for anyone or anything to get the best of me.
Please allow me to step in the ring with you and Aunt Kasey and throw a few punches at it myself.I too am up at this early hour and would enjoy kicking some cancer butt right now.

I enjoy the dinner experience that goes with the dress up but I really all my life have been a down home DRESS DOWN type of guy.I go with comfort and dress down and comfy.

Two young boys walk into a pharmacy one day, pick out a box of Tampax and proceed to the checkout counter. The man at the counter asks the older boy, "Son, how old are you?"
"Eight," the boy replies.
The man continues, "Do you know what these are used for?"
"Not exactly," the boy says. "But they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's four. We saw on TV that if you use these you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now he can't do either one."

Kase,that is so truly spoken.I am very fortunate to have a great caregiver in my corner with my wife and family.

It is possibly cancer again however it could be caused by many things.The docs will need to get to the answer for that.
