  1. Ernie, this is great news.Congratulations on a very well deserved accomplishment. My hat is off to you,and thank you for being an inspiration to so many of us here.

  2. A group of Americans was touring Ireland. One of the women in

the group was a real curmudgeon, constantly complaining. The

bus seats are uncomfortable. The food is terrible. It's too hot. It's

too cold. The accommodations are awful.

The group arrived at the site of the famous Blarney Stone.

"Good luck will be followin' ya all your days if you kiss the

Blarney Stone,"the guide said. "Unfortunately, it's being

cleaned today and so no one willbe able to kiss it. Perhaps we

    can come back tomorrow."

"We can't be here tomorrow," the nasty woman shouted. "We

have some other boring tour to go on. So I guess we can't kiss

    the stupid stone."

"Well now," the guide said, "it is said that if you kiss someone

who has kissed the stone, you'll have the same good fortune."

"And I suppose you've kissed the stone," the woman scoffed.

"No, ma'am," the frustrated guide said, "but I've sat on it."

  3. Randy I too give you a big vote of praise.I don't spend a lot of time in some of the other forums but I always check in too see what interesting NEW devolements hav come up.There is always something new and interesting you have kept us up to date with.

Thanks for all the work and effort you provide us.As for the effect it has on us as readers it is up for all of us to take what we can from what we read and leave what we don't want.

  4. Bud lite and chocolate donuts sounds good to me.Sue and Ry and I are thinking more like starting early, like mabe 8 or 9 AM.Kase is working the 1rst shift and Cindi the 2nd.I'll do third shift.

  5. Barb,At the time we make the decisions as to have radiation and or chemo we are informed of the possible side effects down the road.I too am having many problems with things that are related to chemo, radiation, tests, medicines etc.

When I think on it,I still really feel it has been worth it since I truly feel those tx's all combined have given me a lot of extra time with my family and loved ones.In the neighborhood of probably two and a half years or so.

Now that my options and time line are shortened I still try every day to make each day a special one.

Hoping the scarring and other problems can be managed and dealt with.Don't give up the ship yet.
