  1. You know I'm wishing you and Gary only the best. Maybe this truly is an answer to the many prayers we've all said for you. And I'm working on what we e-mailed about late last week . . . will let you know when I hear back.

Love and fortitude by the truckloads,

    Katha

  2. HEY Y'ALL!!

Don't forget to send me stuff to sell at the LCSC booth at our elementary school's upcoming Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday, December 4th. So far, all I've got is the jewelry and tooth fairy pillows that Katie sent me, and that's not enough!

I don't actually need your items now, but I would like to have an idea of what you'll be sending me. Please post a reply here or e-mail me at jkstuart@bellsouth.net.

    Thanks!

    Katha (aka TeeTaa)

P.S. Could someone please "sticky" this for me? I haven't a clue how to do that or even if I have the capability. Thanks!

  3. Evelyn, mother to James in Iowa, passed away on Saturday night, October 30th. She was only 47 years old and had three children - James (19), another son (27), and a beautiful young daughter (8).

Please hold this family close in your thoughts and prayers.

    Rest in peace, Evelyn.

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

  4. I'm so sorry to read this news. I mentioned this to someone else not long after TBone died, and I want to tell you also. Two days or so before TBone died, the wonderful and compassionate hospice doctor said, "Have you all said what you need to say?" We answered that yes, we had. Then he said, "When he's awake, enjoy him." So we did.

Get out there, be with your Mom and Dad and other family members, and enjoy him.

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

  5. This makes my blood boil. How dare that selfish person do this to your family. I'm too mad right now to even think straight, but I do think the advice to see an attorney is good.

Just had a thought - I'll PM you, Elaine.

Love and prayers and fortitude to you, my friend.

  6. I have to say, David, you're one determined soul. And boy am I glad!

I've never really had any kind of an urge to do the travel trailer thing, probably because I've not really had any exposure to the experience. However, I have to admit to having some thoughts of "trying it out" simply because of your wonderful posts. Even through all the trials, you have a good time and are building wonderful memories for little Faith.

Good luck with the "upped" chemo, although I just had to shake my head at your agreeing to it. Just save your resources this time, will ya?!

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

P.S. If I ever get to the point where we buy a travel trailer, I'll be sure to have the commission sent to you!

  7. I can't believe I missed this wonderful news! I'm doing a belated Happy Dance just for you!

Hey - I've got an idea - why don't you and our best guy NED come join us at the fundraising Holiday Extravaganza on December 4th? Pritchie and Angie are planning to come, and we'd love to meet you too! You can stand in the booth with your arms around an "invisible" man and we'll all tell folks it's your date, NED.

Thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning.

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

  8. Y'all might remember a 19-year-old named James (in Iowa) who posted a couple of months ago about his Mom who'd just been diagnosed and told there was nothing they could do. He's a family acquaintance, and I found out today that things are not good at all . . . she's been in the hospital since Monday, possibly with pneumonia. Please say a little prayer for Evelyn and her three kids (27, 19, and 8).

    Thanks -

    TeeTaa

  9. You know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry I've been mostly MIA this week . . . this stay-at-home mom stuff is for the birds lately. You and I need to meet halfway and do something fun - FOR US!

    Love you, my friend,

    TeeTaa

  10. I haven't heard any of this info in the news . . . have been in my own little world with Halloween/school/volunteer/husband-out-of-town activities. BUT I find it very interesting, especially given the fact that I'm usually only a red wine drinker, but tonight - yes, TONIGHT! - I happen to have a glass of white wine sitting here on my desk - probably the first white wine I've had in six months! Is someone trying to send me a message?! TBone, are you there?!?! :)

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

  11. Last weekend, I planted my daffodil bulbs. And tomorrow, I'm planting a whole bunch - and I mean a BUNCH! - of red tulip bulbs. So I'm counting on you to come see them blooming beautifully in the Spring.

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

P.S. And you can show up tomorrow to help with the planting if you want to!

  12. You take care of yourself, you hear? Is there anything I can do to help your daughter out up here in the Atlanta area? Just holler -

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa

  13. Of course you're worried, but try not to let it get to you. It's not unusual for them to have to re-do a mammogram - and the fact that "that" box wasn't checked should certainly ease your mind. But she'll be in my thoughts and prayers anyway.

    TeeTaa

  14. Sounds like you and Alex are doing as well as can be expected given the situation. You've got much to be proud of in that little guy . . . and in yourself.

    Praying for us all,

    TeeTaa
