Jen,
I am really rooting for you...keeping my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that the results show improvement or at the very least stable.

Cindi, don't feel sinful about meeting your man in a bar..........mine is worse. I was riding the the back bed of a pick-up truck being wild and dressed in a mini skirt (yes.....very unsafe...stupid). My girlfriends and I were cruising the main drag (back when it was legal still---it was the 80's). We stopped at a red light where there was a midnight blue corvette also stopped. Inside were 2 really hot guys. I dated the blonde for a couple weeks but ended up with the brunette (my wonderful husband)for 17 years!! The blonde was the best man at our wedding (weird huh?).........

1. People who forget to turn off their turn signal (you don't know if they are changing lanes or not).
2. When I get a bad meal at a fancy restaurant.
3. When you go somewhere to get something done and they say, "Oh, so-and-so handles that and he/she is gone all week, come back next week." --Can people not multiple task these days?
4. People who talk during a movie.

I have a Dodge Durango (V-. It gets 12 miles to the gallon. We went away this past weekend to Mt. Lassen and pulled our travel trailor....7 miles to the gallon. We should have just bought airline tickets to Hawaii....would have been cheaper.

Maybe 5 years ago I would think, "Why torture myself?" Of course I would open it and pray it wasn't some sort of Pandora's Box.
But......with all the world in an uproar, I would call the police and I'm sure they would get the bomb squad out, dogs, etc.

The military base that I was near (in England) had a pretty neat summer program that allowed kids (I was 14 yrs old) to work on the base. I worked with the military police typing out ID cards and I manned the snack bar; I'm sure I must have helped myself to a few candy bars I made like $3.75 an hour. It was great because I saved my money all Summer so I could have cash during the school year (I went to a boarding school).

Watch a movie on the couch with my husband and daughter. We would be sharing a down throw and eating nachos or some other food totally void of nutritional benefits. We are all so busy that it really is the simple things that I cherish.
