  1. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, (((((Andrea))))), and to your family and friends of the beautiful "lioness". May God be with all of you as you go through the hours, days, weeks and even years ahead. The lcsc family will be here for you, always.

    Love,

    Sue

  2. (((Maryanne & Joel))),

Happy hugs to you! I can hardly wait to tell my mom about Joel's results. She will forever be grateful to him for sharing his cyberknife experience. She was 2 years NED (since her cyberknife) in November and will be due for a scan end of April . She is a 5 year cancer survivor and she owes her status of NED to the cyberknife. I'm just so thrilled for you guys.. Go Joel!!!

    Hugs,

    Sue

  3. (((Judy))),

You've been in my thoughts so much lately and tonight something told me I needed to check in here before going to bed. I'm just so sorry to read this latest news... :( I knew you were having a rough time lately , but had hoped it was just the chemo. Hope the Gemzar will do it's magic.. I will be saying a lot of extra prayers for you girlfriend.. Love you..

    Hugs,

    Sue

  4. Kasey, you are such an inspiration and such a gift to all of us here. Your story is written so wonderfully well and I hope every lung cancer patient, caregiver and person touched by this disease will read it. There is so much to be learned from your experience and how persistent research and perseverance can pay off. Thank you for sharing. You have always been an inspiration to me and I feel blessed to call you my friend.

    Love,

    Sue

  5. Judy, I already posted to facebook , but wanted to post here too. I'm so sorry you had the fluid and all the problems that you said have gone with the procedure etc., but hopefully you are feeling better with each day. Stable scan results is great news.. Take care dear one.

    Hugs,

    Sue

  6. Nick, your mom has a new home and a new phone number now. You can talk to her any time of day and I know she will hear you. I do understand what you are saying. When Mike died I left his outgoing message on our phone and it gave me comfort, but also made me sad. One day we had a big storm that knocked power out and my answering machine lost it's memory and Mike's message, guess it was time to move on, but it was so upsetting. This also reminds me of when my grandmother passed away and I guess as a way of accepting reality I would call her number, only to hear that it was not in service. :( I have forgotten her number as well. I understand those little things that are just a jolt to the heart.

    Big Hugs,

    Sue

  7. You've been in my thoughts today, (((Randy)))! As I wrote to you on facebook, it seems like it was just yesterday. You lost your Deb about a month and half before I lost my Mike ( March 2nd) and I remember those days . You said "it's hard to remember a lot of things" and I have noticed that, as time goes on, I have forgotten some of the bad moments also or perhaps they are blocked from our memories. Maybe, it's God's way of helping us to cope and focus on the good times. Take care , Randy and always remember you have lots of friends who want to be here for you through the good and bad times.

    Hugs,

    Sue

  8. Judy, I saw your pic on facebook and decided I better check in here to see what's going on. Want you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers for a very successful surgery and a rapid and full recovery. I'll be checking back in for updates.

    Hugs,

    Sue

  10. (((Kasey))), I am so saddened by this news. Geri was such a special lady. I loved to read her posts. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and such a wonderfully positive attitude. I never met her in person, but she sure touched my heart cyberly. My heartfelt condolences to all of her friends and family. She will truly be missed here at lcsc.

    Geri

Richard, I am so very sorry for your loss. Geri was a very special lady. Her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and most of all her positive attitude will be the memory that will live on in my heart and mind forever. Sorry to be late writing, but I haven't checked in here for a while. Thank you so very much for your kind post and know that you are welcome here always.

    Hugs,

    Sue

  11. MOM'S CT SCAN RESULTS ARE IN: Mom's scan results show she is NED (no evidence of disease). Thanks God and , on behalf of my mom and my family, thanks to all of you who have supported us with your love, thoughts, and prayers. This makes it nearly 2 years since she had cyberknife and she has remained NED!!!
