Nancy B Posted October 28, 2004 Share Posted October 28, 2004 Hi DeeHee, I think you are the only other person on here that I have seen that has had both NSCLC and SCLC, besides me. I had nsc 4 years ago and this past April was diagnosed with sclc. I had 4 cycles of chemo and just this morning had my 7th of 17 PCI treatments. I go every weekday, my appt. is at 8:15 and by 8:20 I am walking out of there My brain MRI was clear also but my understanding is that they don't want to take any chances as sclc seems to want to end up in the brain. So far my only side effects from the radiation are fatigue, a dull headache and not much appetite. Annoying but do-able.
