European Mistletoe (Iscador/Iscar)

Iscador is widely used in Germany, where it is even covered by insurance, to boost the immune system during chemotherapy. I have also read reports that say it has anti-cancer properties. Apparently, "numerous" studies have had promising results, though in the U.S. it is believed that many of the studies were flawed. It is available by prescription under the name of Iscar here, and administered via subcutaneous injection.

Does anyone here have further info/input or personal experience with Iscar?

thanks - I was surprised at the lack of responses to my question. Though these trials are specific for nsclc and won't be available to my partner, I nevertheless am thrilled that trials are being conducted, and I'll watch for results.
