Side effects of CPT-11/Camptosar only-not combo infusions

Hi,

I start this single chemo this Wed. I got some feedback from my last post on this, but most feedback were from people who recieved combo infusions (carbo and CPT-11).

I am looking for feedback from anyone who just recieved CPT-11 and what the side effects were, how the infusion went etc....

Is CPT-11 Cisplatin? If so let me know. My dad is receiving cisplatin infusions with nothing else. He has not had any side effects, a little tired but no nausea.

Hi Jen,

I received cisplatin & camptosar (cpt-11) on day 1 and just camptosar on day 8 & 15. It took about an hour alone just for the camptosar. It never really hit me until the next day then I would get tired. As long as I took my anti-nausea medicine on time I did not get sick, just felt tired. I recovered about 2 days after.
