jcawork
I am concerned that brain mets is worse than having any other mets. Does WBR really get rid of them? Does WBR really help them not come back? Jen
anniem
Hey there, I just wanted to let you know, that my mother had brain mets and they zapped them and they were gone. It worked for her. It might work for you. Good luck...continue to fight! You have alot to live for. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
gerbil runner
Just wanted to let you know we're looking for hope too. Jen. My mom had 3 large brain mets which were causing personality changes. Radiation has reversed these changes and the tumors are shrinking. Long-term remains to be seen.
Connie B
Jen, about 5 years ago, I talked to a lady from New York, (via ALCASE) and at that time, she was a 5 year Small Cell LC Survivor and she had brain mets in the first year of her cancer journey. She was a Social Worker and a very neat lady. I only remember her first name, and it was Judy. She was back to work and doing just fine when I spoke to her, oh, and YES she was cancer free! I only wish we could get more people to post there long term survivor stories. I know fool well they're out there! Hugs, Connie
