This was my 93 year old Papa's favorite joke:

Three elderly sisters lived in an old house together. One sister yells out to the others, "Help! I have one leg in the bathtub and one leg out -- I can't remember if I was getting into the tub or getting out!". The second sister says, "Oh Ethel, just a minute, I'll be right there," as she starts going up the stairs. Suddenly she stops halfway up and says, "Oh! I can't remember if I was going up the stairs or down the stairs..." The third sister, sitting at the table rolls her eyes at them and says, "Thank God I am not like them, knock on wood."
