SDianneB Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Just think -- if he'd never smoked, he might have lived to be 95. I know, not funny, but so many people think you get LC and you might as well bend over and kiss it goodbye. Living to be age 92 is the best revenge, I'd say. This was a funny man. I remember him best as Sonny Drysdale on the Beverly Hillbillies -- too funny! May he rest in peace. Di Quote
Connie B Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I was told that it's really not uncommon for elderly people to died from lung cancer. They also told me it didn't matter if an elderly person smoked or didn't smoke, it's just one of those things we all have to look at when we get old and things just stop working, or go haywire! I'm sure he lived a very full life. May he rest in peace. I wish a LOT of our members could have lived to be HALF his age. Quote
