lc46 Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 My Mom has blood in her urine. We went to get it cultured today. She is afraid the cancer may have spread to her kidneys. Does anyone know if her chemo could be the reason? I haven't read much about her kind causing any kidney damage but Cisplatin does and hers was Carboplatin. Any info would be great. However, doing some looking around there are a few articles which state that Kidney damage can occur from use of Carboplatin. Cisplatin has a higher rate of occurence though for Kidney Damage.
