lc46
I'm sorry for the loss of your "family member". I too have had animals since the day I was born and they are like my kids. I had to put my 2 Akita's down 3 months apart from each other last year and it was devastating. The worst part for me was finally making the decision to do it. My Male Chunker had bone cancer in an area of his leg that couldn't be amputated-nor would I Want it to be since he was going on 14-I did take him down Univ of Penn (same place my Mom gets treatment) for a clinical trial and it helped for awhile but within a few weeks I knew I couldn't keep him here just for me.... I have all 3 of my dogs ashes on my book shelf- I never thought I could love another one like I loved them but now a Big Old Fun Loving Saint Bernard has stolen my heart.....we never forget them and I believe that like the poem Rainbow bridge says-we will see them again someday.... You gave your kittie a wonderful life.... Take Care Dar
