Muriel
Hi Brandy. When my cancer was first diagnosed (2003) I was told that I also had "mild COPD." The pulmonologist recommended Advair. My new pulmonologist suggested adding an inhaler that can be used up to 4X a day. It also helps, altho. I've only used it once. Welthy
Hi Brandy, Ditto what Muriel said. My husband had emphysema, which we didn't know until he was diagnosed with NSCLC and was on Advair 250/50 2x per day with a back-up inhaler also. We already knew he had some calcified nodules for years in his lungs. He also took mucinex twice a day to allow the mucus to be runny enough to make his coughing more productive & help clear the good part of his lungs. Unfortunately, he did require oxygen 24/7. Eventually we also added a home nebulizer to the mix to aid in his breathing. Best wishes to your Grandfather. Welthy
Brandyswa
Thank you for your help. We have to get into the pulmonoglist sometime soon to get some relief. It is awful how they can't breath and how they panic. Thanks again. Hugs Brandy
