JudyB Posted November 23, 2003 Share Posted November 23, 2003 Hi All, It seems I come aboard for a short time, and then I'm laid low again. I have finished all the trips to Phoenix! Yea!!! Ended the CyberKnife treatment on Thursday. Now I have chemo to look forward to. First go-round I had Carboplatin/Taxol which I had little reaction too. I had my 1st Navel/Gem almost 3 weeks ago, but the Gemzar burned so badly, they stopped it. I now have to get a port which evryone saya will make my life MUCH better. Anais Posted November 23, 2003 Share Posted November 23, 2003 Hi, My mother is having Gemzar + Navelbine too since October 1. She will have a CT scan December 12, we will see if it works... He is getting a CT scan on Wed and they can't do that thru the port, so we have to make sure to get an IV nurse. He has no veins. Good luck with the chemo.
