Ann Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 First of all, I love the pictures. The fall bows are perfect and a great way to remind me that this is the first day of fall, despite the 90's here in Florida. Judy...hang in there and know that although I haven't been able to post lately, I've still been sending good thoughts your way. Work is terribly busy but I'm so thankful to have a job. Volunteer activities are absolutely crazy and if I live to be 100, I'll never understand why there is so much hostility and petty jealousy at fraternal organizations. If any of you are members of any, I'm sure you can agree...or sympathize...which ever comes first. SO happy that tomorrow is finally Friday. As usual, I'm always amazed at how quickly the weekends pass and how slowly the weekdays drag on. Hope everyone has a great evening in your little corner of the world. I'm headed to the Post to transform 40 pounds of ground chuck into meat loaf for Friday night dinner! Ann Quote
Joppette Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Nice to hear from you Ann. Yes, I love the hunter orange bows. How funny! The groomers are hunters, so I appreciate their sense of humor. Yes, Fall is coming, sooner for me than you, but won't it be nice when it cools down for you? Good luck with the meat loaf transformation! Judy in MI Quote
dahknee Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Another trip to the ER, I think I just worry too much when I can't breathe. Spent 7 hours, still have a bit of infection going on, seeing infectious disease specialist tomorrow morning. They did A contrast CT scan and chest Ex-Rays, they are ugly but still not showing any sign of cancer so there is a bit of good news in it all. Also learned how to become overall more calm and have less stress. Dr Oz says we need to finish all the things we've started and haven't finished. Starting tomorrow morning I'm going to finish a bottle of Zinfandel, a half bottle of Tequila, A box of Oreos, and maybe a box of chocolates. That oughta help. Talk to ya all later. Donny Quote
ts Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Donny, You can come finish the assorted open bottles of liquor in my cabinet - my antibiotics have me just saying NO to alcohol. There's enough to make you very relaxed and beyond. But bring the chocolate, if it is any good. Stephanie Quote
jaminkw Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Donny, Donny, Donny, I'm so sorry. Now I have to wait for feedback from both your and Stephanie's respective infectious disease specialists. Please keep us posted. Soooo glad about the no cancer thing though. It must be hard to appreciate it with continuous problems breathing. It is a great thing though! Judy in KW Quote
