Friday's Air

Good morning, everyone! TGIF!

It was 75 degrees as I rode to work this morning. Forecast high is 89. There's a large line of storms just to our west, but they hardly seem to be moving now, so I don't know if they'll get here or not.

KW Judy, Pixie hurt her hind leg 8 days ago, and still won't walk on it. Neither we nor the vet found anything broken, but whatever it is, it's obviously taking a while to heal. Glad you're feeling better.

Sorry to hear that you're on antibiotics again, Stephanie. I really don't like those. Ann, I hated the politics when I was an officer in a bass club. It's the same with any social organization, I guess.

Have a great day, all!

Good morning everyone!!! Ahhhhhhhh....Friday....my favorite day of the week. My hubby always asks me why Friday is my favorite and not Saturday or Sunday. Well, I think it has something to do with the anticipation of the upcoming weekend....knowing I don't have to wake up early on Saturday....knowing I have some time for myself...knowing I can spend the morning in bed (if my golden retriever, Tanner, agrees). On Friday, everyone in the office always seems to be in a wonderful mood. Everyone is always smiling and asking about your plans for the weekend. On a weekday, no one ever asks you what you're doing that evening. Of course, everyone is always really friendly on Friday because they get their pay checks...and I'm the one that prepares the checks. So....everyone loves me on Friday....lol

Nice morning here, not too hot and a little overcast. We had a lot of rain here last night, which we're always thankful to get. All eyes here are on Tropical Storm Matthew and we're all watching and waiting to see what he's up to. After Francis, Jeanne and Charley in 2004, the TV weather forecasters love to see a storm brewing out there. The "scare" tactics begin as soon as a storm gets a name and comes anywhere near the state of Florida.

Thanks for the comments on the fraternal organization rumbles. Now, I feel more "ordinary"...whatever that is. The longer I live, the more I become convinced that NORMAL is just another setting on my washer and dryer.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Let's all savor every minute of the weekend and make Monday take as long as possible to roll around! Oh...for any Brothers & Sisters fans, season premiere is Sunday night.

Okay, went to infectious disease specialist and he isn't going to continue IV antibiotics, they didn't seem to do anything but I might get a little better over the next couple weeks. Going to schedule an appointment with Pulmonologist and have another bronchoscopy just to try to get a pinpoint on what is causing this recurring inflammation in my lungs. Talking about mega doses of stearoids to try to knock the inflammation down, also going to start on Zanax and try to get a handle on the panic attacks I have when I can't breathe. Maybe if I can calm down some the panic won't cause the breathing to worsen. Terrible vicious cycle. Struggle for breath, panic, struggle more, panic more, it reminds of the times that I drowned when I was young. My older brother saved my life twice when I was drowning, kept lying to him and saying I knew how to swim, I didn't.

Anyway have a great weekend all.

Donny
