David A Posted January 22, 2004 Share Posted January 22, 2004 I've seen people say that gemzar has caused breating problems, can anyone tell me problems they have had while taking gemzar. I have what I call right now a 'wet gurgle' was just when I was lying down, now it is constant, not bringing anything of particular up when I cough, it is just very irrattating and not helping the overall breathing process. candee Posted January 22, 2004 Share Posted January 22, 2004 David, I received Gemzar during my chemo treatments and did not have any problems except fatigue. I wish I could help you with this. Please call your onc right away, though. They can probably give you some medication to help eleviate the problem. Sending Positve Thoughts and Wishes your way! kimblanchard Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 David, Every time Bill has a gemzar treatment he has trouble breathing. He says it feels like someone is sitting on his chest.
