Hi Chad.

I had a robotic segmentectomy to remove an MIA from my right lower lobe on June 5. I am about six weeks out and pretty much back to normal. I wish you the best with your surgery. There is a ton of great information on this site and many people with experience, expertise and kindness to share.

Chad,

I'm glad you found us, but sorry you need to be hear.  There are a few things I'd like to share with you.

First, is a blog written by a member who was diagnosed with Stage 3 (then 4) Lung Cancer about 20 years ago.  Take a look at "10 Steps to Surviving Lung Cancer; from a Survivor".

Second, a blog I wrote after having my own lobectomy I took my experience and input from others to put together a blog called, "Thoracic Surgery; Tips and Tricks".  It provides advice for pre-surgery, in-hospital, and post-surgery recovery.

Finally, Lungevity has a section called "Recently Diagnosed

I hope these are helpful.  I hope you stick around, read other posts written by survivors and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
