Connie B
Dear ICarlton, Hello to you. I asked my Onc Doc that question 8-1/2 years ago when I was doing my chemo and he replied (72 hours). Chemo is NOT like radiation where it continues to work for up to 6 months. But, it does take time for the cancer cells to die off. So, you won't see much change for a few weeks after chemo, that I know of. I'm not a doc, but this is what I have learned and heard from others. Good Luck and God Bless. Stay with us, we'll help you through.
