Guest Posted May 12, 2003 Share Posted May 12, 2003 Hi everyone- There is a concern that my husband may have progressive communicating hydrocephaly secondary to all the brain radiation he has received. Has anyone experienced this problem? He has been unable to wean of the Decadron. He got as low as 2mg and began having severe headaches again and vomiting. (this has happened twice...which resulted in trips to the ER and overnight stays...) We will be seeing a neurologist this week, but thought I would see if anyone else had experience with this. He may require a shunt we are told. On the positive side...no new brain lesions and the previous lesions are significantly smaller! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
