Elaine
Echinacea is a great herb. For the past two months every time I felt the least bit of congestion, I take it for about a week-10 days and my lungs clear completely. I may have overdone it this week, because my I had some severe swelling, mostly in my legs. Anyway, I highly reccomment its use, but with some precautions to keep in mind. renee_ky
Something else about Echinacea: It has been shown in animal and human studies to improve the migration of white blood cells to attack foreign microorganisms and toxins in the bloodstream. Research suggests that echinacea's activity in the blood may have value in the defense of tumor cells. http://www.kcweb.com/herb/echin.htm
