I've been having some pain in my ribs and under the breast bone...I recently had a CT about a month ago and all was OK....I'm just wondering if the Chest/CT covered the ribs....

I think I had this pain before the CT...so if there was anything there would it have showed up....

    Thanks for you help

  6. Hi Kids....just checking in to share the good news....Remember last week I posted that my Surgeon wasn't satisfied with the results from the chest exray and wanted a CT. ..to see better....Well he got the results...I saw him today...and he said 'all was clear and he would see me in A YEAR...WOW...

He said he thought it was OK but he had to make sure...I commend him for that...although I didn't like it....

Take care my friends...stay well and God Bless All of Us

    hugs...nonni

  7. Hi Jen....

I read your post and had me in mind also...sorta like the same deal...well ..almost....

I sure hope when your Dad has his scan again it will be normal....about me...I recently had a f/u chest exray and the report from the radioligist said ...normal and minamal thickning due to post surgery....I posted this last week...but anyway...when my surgeon read the film...he said ...the radioligist thinks it is OK and it probably is but he wants me to have a CT /scan on Monday to make sure...I told him I had been sick with upper respiratory infection and he said that 'light part' that he wan't to look at is probably from me being sick but he wants to make sure...

I'm telling you this because your Dad's exray probably showing signs of his cold...Let's pray that your DAd and I have clear scan's...Praise God

    hugs...nonni

Take care ...and Blessing to your DAd...

Please tell hospice your fears and concerns....People say they are sooo wonderful and that is what they are there for...to take a way the pain and make you as comfortable as possible....I have tears here so I will close thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers...

  10. Thanks Patti..

I do believe the doc's got to get there ch't together....I was really sheduled for my ct/scan in Oct by the onc which he shedules for every year..but since the surgeon pushed it up I called the onc's office and told them I will be cancelling the Cat in Oct cause I am taking one in two weeks and I'll be damned if I'm gonna take another one a few months away...I told the onc's secratary to tell the doctor I will bring him the results from this one and not to shedule one for another yr so both the surgeon and the onc could use the same one...I'm not a freaking ginue pig..damnit!!!!!!!

And of course that is if everything is alright....sigh...I HATE THIS...

  11. Hi guys and gals....

Remember last week I posted in good news that I got the results from my chest exray....and it was NORMAL...well today I had my appointment with my surgeon and he read the report and then looked at the exray's and said he wanted me to do a Ct/Scan...I said 'what for'...he showed me the exray and said..The radioligist seems to think it's OK but I have to make sure and I could see it better on a Ct/Scan...grrrr....He said he thinks i't OK too but he has to make sure He showed me the exray and showed me a light area and said it may be do to the respiratory infection that I had weeks ago and still have some of it....

So I have to go in 2 weeks to make sure this cold is all gone....BTW...the report read...

Finding's: No significant change from previous study on 02/04/08/ the heart is normal and there is minimal thickening of the right lung base is noted compatible with previous surgery...

    The left lung is clear....

    Impression:stable chest..

    Soooo what cha think....

    hugs...nonni

  17. Hi Folks....

Been awhile since I posted and I miss you guys....I was just on line and just came across websites of 'acai burn'....showing very positive effects on your health...and even 'cancer'...Read about a man who had colon cancer...spread to his stomach and lungs and the doctor's sent him home with you know..."can't do anything else'....Well seems his daughter didn't want to hear this and she started her Dad on "acai burn'..what could it hurt???.one pill a day...six months later her 84 year old dad is doing well ...thinking about driving again and having more energy than ever....and the cancer is shrinking...

So I was just wondering if anyone here is taking it and your thought on it...

    hugs and love to all...

    God Bless...nonni
