    Connie my friend...you are 'da best'....You alway's come up with such wonderful 'thread's' on the board...I think this is really a good one to share with all our friends here...

    For me...you know my main problem is 'sick in the head' with this LC stuff...worry wart that I am is my main health problem...but I am slowing over coming that specially when I get a good report like I just did...Other than that...it is mostly aches and pains...(and dare I blame it on old age)...no way!!! not me..ha...

    But really...I really don't have to much to complain about ..thank God...a little 'osteo'...a little "Gerd'..but for the most part I'm OK...

    I pray for everyone here for all the other health problems...other than LC..(Lord only know's that's enough)..and hope that what ever it is...they could deal with and get on with their life the best that they can...This is no 'dress rehersal'...so we have to make the best with what we have...and alway's remember there is someone who is worse off then us..

    Connie..you are a worrior...you never cease to amaze me ..you are so kind and caring...I can't even begin to tell you how much you have contributed to this board...we all love you...and me?...I love you up to the sky :-) xoxoxox

    Karen...thanks for the update on your Mom....She is one classy lady and is showing her stuff now in the hospital.. :lol: ...Tell her to take it easy and we all miss her....So happy her SOB is better...praying she will be right back in shape in no time at all...

    Tammy ....soooo happy for you guys and especially your Dad....I for sure was for the Giants...and when Eli threw the bomb with 35 seconds to go...I almost jumped thru the screen...yipppeeeee!!!!

    So happy you and your family had a wonderful day...and thanks for the pics...they were great and I could squeese and squeese that precious baby...

    Oh Patty...your such a sweetheart...so sorry you've been having those ever popular bumps in the road...but so happy you are on the mend now....Please take care and come on line whenever you can...so good to see you here...

    Double pnemonia is a bummer....I had pnemonia and the flu at the same time and it really was a big 'bump'...so I could just imagine how you felt...but you are getting better now...the radiation seems to be doing the trick...and you are so right

    Hi Sandra....

    Many moons ago I had blood in the urine...way before I was dx...went to the uroligist...he did a cystoscopy everything was fine...kept checking with him for years...till it finally went away and nothing came of it...but that's not to say..don't have it checked...YES..you must...like other's said it can come from many many things...and maybe just nothing like me....Good luck but please have it checked right away so you won't worry...

    I'm going out to buy a flashlight and baseball bat too...oh wait...I have a flashlight..just need the bat...I am just a little pass 3 years and Praise God for that...looking forward to 5 years and many more..

    Hi There...

    If you look at my profile..I have had quite a few Pet/scan's for various reason's...so I think there are different reason's for Pet's...prayer's for your Mom with good test results...Incidently all of my Pet test have came back negative...Praise God...so it doesn't mean that something has to be wrong...just precautionary sometime....

    Great news Lenny...keep up the good work...You had your lobectomy 9 day's after me...I also am 3+ with yearly ct/scan and blood work and every 6 month for chest exray....due for chest exray next month and then the 'heebie jeebie's begin....but thinking postive and gonna stay that way....

    Kasey...you are definatly NED again...phooey on this 'what ever it is"....which I never heard of..ha

    I will be praying my friend that it is nothing...How many many time's do we all get scares...Remember just a few weeks ago I had one...I swear the radioligist would pick up a 'mite' if he could....I guess it's for the best thou....I'll be asking for prayer's next month....scan time = prayer time..

    Quitting smoking

    Like I said in a previous post...I quit smoking about 8 yrs before being dx...After 7 attempts and one time as long as 7 months...than at my niece's wedding ...a couple of vodka tonic's is all it took...and there I was back smoking again...Mind you I am not a drinker...just sociable one...but that did have an effect on me that I wanted a ciggy...ugh

    And there I was back smoking..only took one to do it

    Than about 4 yrs later watching tv one night...something triggered me and I swear I can't remember what...but I said...'that's it..I will never smoke another ciggerate...I had 2 left in my pack and crumbled them up and threw them in the trash...

    My biggest support was my family...(not really)...and I'll tell you why....they ALL said.."oh yeah...we know..you'll go back again"...Well you couldn't blame them for saying that because they knew that I tried to stop numberous times...When I say they were my biggest support..what I mean is..."I'LL SHOW YOU'...and as hard as it was..I did....I think the was the hardest thing I have ever done...I thought of them as my 'friends'...just popp a cigg and i'd be fine...

    Now when I think back...how in the hell did I EVER smoke all those years...I gagg just thinking about it...I think cold turkey is the way to go...instead of all this other stuff that you put in your body...Hard I know..but ya gotta do what ya gotta do...

    Don't you know us LC survivors are NOT supposed to smoke????...(just a little snicker here)...I wish everyone the best of luck that are trying to stop...just keep trying and it will happen
