It’s almost a year since surgery and yesterdays ct scan showed no new malignancy. However it showed a thyroid nodule that they biopsied and is malignant so off to a thyroid surgeon for that. Oh life…. Never easy

My pcp is no better than seeing my local vet. A Ct scan is now scheduled for august. Surgeon said if there’s a problem, she can do a ‘renovation’. Whaaaat? Not sure I want anything in my body renovated except my face. Lol. What’s a renovation? Otherwise, I think I’m doing well.

You are going through more than one person should. I’m glad you got an answer. I’m sorry your life is md appointments. I feel a little of that. I tell people my social circle is now completely comprised of medical people. I hope you’re at a large teaching hospital and getting top notch care.

Minh. You have been through the ringer. I have an effusion as well and no one has said anything. Having tests and waiting for answers is true torture. I’m to the point I don’t want any more tests. Don’t want them to find anything else. I’d ask about monoclonal therapy. I’ve had c-diff twice since surgery and may have it again and will ask for this.
