  1. Shar,

I am truly sorry to hear you having such a hard time right now. Just remember to take it one day at a time and things WILL get better. I will be praying for you.

We had a boxer that ran away a few months ago. It really hurt us and my two year old. We decided to get another dog to replace her. That really helped. There are so many dogs out there that need someone like you to take them in. It's obvious you are an animal lover. Good luck with everything.

    Jamie

  2. Has anyone had any stomach problems with Tarceva and if so could you explain. I'm having a few now and I'm concerned it may be from this drug. I don't want to stop taking it because it's working. Any info would be great.

    Thanks!

    Living life,

    Jamie

  3. Hey Libby,

She has been a trooper. WOW!! I don't think I have that much energy and I am only 35. Anyway, I'm sending prayers your way. Tell your Mom to keep strong and Fight,Fight,Fight.

    Jamie

  4. Hey everyone!!

Thanks for all of your well wishes. You are great. Life has been a little challenging lately. My tummy has been giving me problems. I get it checked out Thursday. I hope it's not from the Tarceva, but

I guess that is a possibility. One thing that really brightens me up is my little boy. He is here with me now saying how much he likes "Bunny Baces"(Funny faces-the emoticons to the left of the screen). Too funny. Who has a chance to worry or be upset when your with a 2 year old all day.

Sorry to be rambling----Thanks again to everyone!!!

    Living Life,

    Jamie

  5. Adee,

I haven't had any of those side effects. I wanted to welcome you and let you know what a wonderful support group it is here. You have found the right place. My prayers are with you during this journey.

  6. Maryanne,

Thank you. I must say that I am very proud of the site. The kids are great and say such wonderful things. I wanted to let you know that it is a free site. Anyone can have it, you just sign up. It's very inspirational and it's quite phenomenal how the word gets out about it. People from all over the world, people that I don't know praying for me. What a blessing.

    Thanks again!!!

    Living life,

    Jamie

  7. Nancy,

You are so right. I am always wondering if the researchers and doctors are really doing all that they can. Sometimes it really scares me. Dealing with these issues is a very challenging thing to do. You hang in there.

    Living life,

    Jamie

  8. Hey everyone!! Hope ya'll are doing great. I have been having the best time with my little one. He really does the funniest things. Thanks to everyone for the messages. It's really good to know hat there is someone out therethat truly understands what you're dealing with. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about starting a fundraising event. Who to contact? How to do it? Thanks!

    Jamie

  9. Thanks everyone!!

I feel better already. I wanted to let everyone know that my husband had started a website for me. It is www.caringbridge.org/tn/jamie. This site has been such an inspiration for me and it's totally free. It's wild how people from all over the world have managed to find and send prayers, comforting thoughts and support. Check it out and let me know if any of you decide to start one for yourself.

    Living and loving life,

    Jamie

  10. Beth,

You have been through so much and I truly understand your pain. Being so young it was really hard for me to grasp that I really had cancer. I felt like I had so much more life left in me. Guess what, you do!!!! Do what you want everyday and don't worry about anything. Play with your kids, go to the park, listen to music, sleep---whatever it is you want to do. I'm sure you will find the med to help you stabalize your emotions. In the meantime, keep on venting- this is one of my favorite releases. You can vent to me anytime you want. Keep strong and live for today. Remember "today is a gift, that's why it is called the present".

    Living life,

    Jamie

  11. I want to thank everyone for your response and support. By the way, this is my little one. He is the joy of my life. Although, these terrible twos are driving me nuts. He is so wanting his independence. Any tips on making it through this age and keeping my sanity????? HaHa

    Loving life,

    Jamie

  12. Hi everyone!

I just found your site a couple of days ago and I am very impressed with the wealth of information that can be found. I look forward to talking with you and being part of your network. I realize how important it is to stay active and open-minded during this trying time in all of our lives. My personal objective is to stay positive and take it one day at a time. It's worked so far and life is great. It's somewhat strange that in a number of ways cancer has really blessed our lives. My hubby and I are closer that we ever were and I can spend all the time I want with my two-year old little boy. This is time I never had before because I was working so many hours. You truly re-evaluate what's important and try to make every day special. My family has been blessed with prayers, donations, food, baby sitting---anything we have needed people for someone has been there to help. What a wonderful feeling to know that you are loved. I see alot of love and empathy on this site and that's what I think makes it so special. Again, I look forward to being a part of your support community.

    Love,

    Jamie
